Bed Bug Extermination in Chalkfarm

Chalkfarm is high-rise-dominant: a cluster of 1960s and 1970s apartment towers on Chalkfarm Drive and along Jane Street, with a smaller band of postwar houses to the east. The towers drive the neighbourhood's primary pest load — bed bugs and German cockroaches travelling through vertical pipe chases, electrical conduits, and shared laundry rooms under high tenant turnover, plus mice moving between units along the same pathways. Whole-building treatment programs, not single-unit calls, are the norm here.

The low-rise postwar houses east of Jane Street sit close to the Black Creek ravine, so raccoons, skunks, and squirrels den under sheds and decks and move into attics from the greenway. The Jane Street commercial strip adds rats, mice, and flies to both the houses and the tower ground floors, and the older poured foundations on the low-rise blocks trail pavement ants and mice every spring.
